Reservations
A 50% non-refundable deposit must be made before we will hold any animals. We can hold specific animals, or you can reserve specific genders. After a non-refundable deposit is made for the animal(s) of your choice, we will hold the animal(s) until they are ready to leave the homestead and up to 2 weeks after that. If you fail to pick up the animal(s) within 14 days of the agreed-upon date, they will be posted back for sale unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.
Animal Sales
Rabbits will not leave the homestead before 8 weeks of age. Every rabbit comes with a full pedigree (unless otherwise stated) and a small bag of transition feed. All animals are inspected and deemed healthy, to the best of our knowledge, at the time of sale. We will do our best to help buyers inspect the animals, but it is ultimately the buyer's responsibility to look over the animal(s) at the time of sale to make sure that there are no mistakes with gender, disqualifications, or health issues. Animals sold as "showable" or "show stock" are not guaranteed to win, but are free of disqualifications, to the best of our knowledge.
Payment
We accept payment in any of the following forms.

- Cash
- Paypal
- Venmo
We do not accept checks or credit cards at this time.
Pickup
We do not travel for animal sales anymore. If you would like to purchase from us, please be willing to travel to Lebanon, PA for pickup.
However, depending on where you live, there is always a chance that we will be coming out your way in the near future for other reasons and we can bring the animal(s) with us. So feel free to ask if that is a possibility.
Returns & Refunds
After leaving our care, Little Hare Homestead is no longer responsible for any animal or product purchased from us. We do not issue refunds or accept returns. However, if you do have any problems with your purchase, please let us know at nathan@littleharehomestead.com and we will see if there is anything we can do.
Animal Well-being
We do not sell animals as gimmicks or toys. Even though we raise many of our animals as livestock, we care very much for their quality of life and expect our customers to do the same. If you don't plan on caring for an animal, buy it somewhere else. However, if you find that you are unable to care for an animal, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can rehome it.
Rehoming
Although we will not buy back any of the animals we have sold, we will rehome any animals that you can no longer take care of, whether you are unable to care for them or are just unwilling to. Any animal returned will belong to Little Hare Homestead, and will no longer be owned by the customer returning the animal.
Hatching Eggs
All of our laying birds are selected for fertility, but we cannot guarantee that the eggs will hatch because so much of the process is out of our control.
